TAB has several volunteer opportunities throughout the year and we can’t do it alone! Without the support of our members and our student athletes, our programs wouldn’t be successful.
AL BAKER VOLUNTEER SCHOLARSHIP
Students are required to obtain volunteer hours for THS graduation. TAB provides MANY opportunities for all students to exceed their volunteer hours each year. In 2017, TAB created the Al Baker Volunteer Scholarship, which awards one $1,000 scholarship in the name of 30-year volunteer game announcer, Al Baker. The graduating student athlete who accumulates the most number of recorded hours volunteering for TAB receives this honor each year. Students are required to submit their volunteer hours to Twinsburg High School and must be included on the student’s official volunteer record. In order for a student athlete to be eligible for this award, parent(s) must be a current member of TAB by December 31 of student’s senior year.

JOIN A COMMITTEE
Parent membership and involvement is the key to a successful athletic booster club.
We are thankful for our many dedicated members that help make everything happen each year. Most of our revenue comes from TwinsDays, the TAB Wrestling Tournament and the Concession Stand–and we have active committees working behind the scenes that help make it all possible.
Sign up today to be a TAB committee member and provide a few hours of your time throughout the year helping with our concession stand or with one of our signature events. It’s a fun way to get involved in the Twinsburg community, and meet other parents and volunteers along the way. To see a list of TAB committees and select your committee preferences, click here.
Twinsburg gains world wide recognition for the largest gather of twins. Each year Twinsburg Athletic Booster and Student Volunteers manage all of the parking and ticket sales for TwinsDays.
- TAB members operate the golf carts that transport twins and attendees to and from all of the parking lots.
- Look for our Student Athletes, Coaches and Parents who staff the parking lots to guide attendees and collect funds for the TAB General Fund.
- Our Student Athletes, coaches and parents staff the tickets sales and collection stands at TwinsDays entry gate.
TAB WRESTLING TOURNAMENT
The TAB wrestling tournament takes place in Feb each year and has risen from 7 schools to 28 participating schools this past year with a waiting list. The success of this program promotes TAB across the state of Ohio and requires volunteerism from our membership and students to make it a success.
- TAB staffs eight Mats operating simultaneously with score keepers, tappers, and runners
- TAB provides Award Ceremony and Awards.
- TAB staffs food court for two day event.
TAB staffs the Concession stand on the home side of Tiger Stadium (north end by the scoreboard) at all home Varsity Football games. TAB also staffs the indoor Concession stand (split with Band Boosters) for Volleyball, Basketball and Wrestling events. Look for volunteer information before the start of each season.
Due to Covid-19 safety guidelines, volunteer opportunities are limited until further notice.
